Mind Upload lets you read selected web content with your own AI consciousness, discuss it, and choose what to save. This policy describes the browser extension and its connection to Mind Upload.
When you invoke the extension on a page, it reads the page title, a cleaned source address, readable text and already-loaded captions, and takes one visible-area screenshot, all on your device. The side panel shows that page above your question. Its text goes with your next question; the screenshot goes too when the visible screen is mostly images or video, or when you include it. Before sending you can remove the page, leave out the screenshot, edit the excerpt, or mask and crop the image. Forms and editors are masked locally where they can be inspected; embedded frames and some page components cannot be fully checked.
Video recording starts only after you select a visible player region and recording range. Audio may include other sounds from the same tab, never your microphone. Closing the side panel stops recording. The result is previewed locally before you confirm its use. Local audio or video files can also be selected explicitly.
You can also paste or drop an image into the side panel, or record a spoken question. The microphone is used only while you record, after you allow it in Chrome once; leaving the recorder discards an unfinished recording, and a finished one is previewed locally before you confirm it. Images and recordings stay on your device until you send your question.
Sending a question shares your message and confirmed sources with Mind Upload. Requested media analysis shares the selected original media. Preparing or saving memory shares the discussion, notes or edits needed for that action. The extension does not continuously monitor other tabs or collect a general browsing history.
Mind Upload and its hosting, storage and AI processing service providers process this information to authorize your consciousness, answer your questions, analyze confirmed sources, prepare memories and carry out your requested saves and reviews. Processing follows Mind Upload's configured service routing and media restrictions; the extension does not choose or bypass them. Data is not sold or used for advertising.
The extension's use of information received from Chrome APIs follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Source material is used for the described reading and personal-memory features. A webpage's claims are kept as attributed source material, rather than being treated as your personal experiences.
The current reading discussion, drafts, operation progress, unsent previews and revocable association are retained locally in encrypted form so they can recover after a browser restart. Language, theme and the last selected consciousness are also retained. Local encryption does not protect a copied browser profile or a compromised extension environment.
Disconnect hides the private reading content; authorizing the same consciousness again restores it. Disconnecting does not erase retained drafts or saved memories. A new authorization cannot automatically retry the previous authorization's unfinished paid work. The association expires according to the server's validity period and can be revoked through Mind Upload.
Preparing a candidate does not save it as memory. Saving applies your Mind Upload external-memory approval settings. Confirmed originals and saved conclusions follow the main app's media retention, storage and deletion rules. Prepared candidates, their source attribution and operation results can remain with the account for recovery and review. Upload deduplication receipts retain request identifiers, content fingerprints and result associations with the account without another original-content copy.
You can remove an unsent source or clip in the extension, export notes as Markdown or plain text, manage saved memories and authorizations in Mind Upload, or delete your Mind Upload account there. Account deletion removes account-owned records under the main app's deletion process. Browser-local recovery data is separate: remove it through Chrome's extension/site-data controls when it is no longer needed.
Service providers also process network information such as your IP address to deliver requests and limit abuse. The initial association limit uses an IP-derived value; the browser service does not use it for advertising profiles.

网页录制仅在你选定可见播放器区域和录制范围后开始。声音可能包含同一标签页的其他声音，但不会包含麦克风。关闭侧栏会停止录制。录制结果先在本地预览，再由你确认使用。也可以主动选择本地音视频文件。
你还可以把图片粘贴或拖入侧栏，或录下口述的问题。麦克风只在你录音时使用，且需你先在 Chrome 中允许一次；离开录音界面会丢弃未完成的录音，完成的录音先在本地预览，再由你确认。图片和录音在你发送问题前只保存在你的设备上。
发送问题时，你的消息和已确认来源会发送至 Mind Upload。请求媒体分析时会发送所选原媒体；整理或保存记忆时会发送该操作所需的讨论、笔记或修改。插件不会持续监控其他标签页，也不收集通用浏览历史。
Mind Upload 及其托管、存储和 AI 处理服务提供方使用这些信息，为你的意识提供授权连接、回答、已确认来源分析、记忆整理，以及你请求的保存和审核。处理遵循 Mind Upload 配置的服务路由及媒体限制，插件不会自行选择或绕过这些规则。信息不会出售或用于广告。
插件使用 Chrome API 所获信息时，遵守 Chrome 网上应用店用户数据政策及其“有限使用”要求。来源内容用于上述阅读和个人记忆功能。网页中的主张会保留出处，不会直接当作你本人的经历。
当前阅读讨论、草稿、操作进度、未发送预览及可撤销的关联凭证会加密保留在本地，以便浏览器重启后恢复。语言、主题和上次选择的意识也会保留。本地加密不能防御整个浏览器资料被复制或插件运行环境被攻破。
退出关联会隐藏私密阅读内容；重新授权同一意识后可以恢复。退出关联不会删除保留的草稿或已保存记忆。新授权不会自动重试旧授权尚未完成的付费操作。关联沿用服务器有效期，并可在 Mind Upload 中撤销。
整理候选不会直接把它保存为记忆。点击保存后，沿用你在 Mind Upload 中的外部记忆审批设置。已确认原媒体和已保存结论沿用主站媒体保留、存储及删除规则。为恢复和审核，已整理候选、出处及操作结果可能随账号保留。上传去重回执随账号保留请求标识、内容指纹及结果关联，不另存一份原始内容。
你可以在插件中移除未发送来源或片段，将笔记导出为 Markdown 或纯文本，在 Mind Upload 中管理已保存记忆和授权，或在那里删除账号。账号删除按照主站删除流程移除账号所属记录。本地恢复数据单独保留；不再需要时，请通过 Chrome 的扩展程序或网站数据管理清除。
服务提供方也会处理 IP 地址等网络信息以传送请求和限制滥用。首次关联限制使用 IP 派生值，浏览器服务不会用它建立广告画像。
